My dog has an itchy red drainy eye?

My dog has an itchy red drainy eye. Last night we were in the back yard with a camp fire and my dog was just kinda sittin in the barkmolch diggin occasionally if this has any thing to do with it. We put him in his crate for bed and when we got him up this morning it was like this. I have this eye medicine that the vet gave me when he got a piece of bark molch in his eye and they had to remove it the medicine is to prevent infection. Please help

Contact your vet and tell them whats going on, phone calls are free. In the meantime, you can flush the eye with luke-warm water…

Keep watch on him and follow the vets instructions.
